BLEAT n TEATS Farm reserves the right to retain any kid born for our herd. We reserve the right not to do business with anyone for any reason. We cannot guarantee the show career or milk production of any animal. BLEAT n TEATS Farm guarantees the health of all goats at the point of sale. Because we cannot control any stress that may occur as a result of transport or the goat’s environment or management once they leave our farm, we cannot offer further guarantees. All of our animals are up to date on age appropriate vaccinations and deworming. 

I do not ship my goats by air. All sales are pick up only.

Once a pick up date has been agreed upon, if the goat is not a picked up after one week, the sale is void and deposit is forfeited.

Payment for a deposit or full payment up front may be made in the form of cash, paypal, money order, or Mastercard or Visa. You can send the deposit payment through the "Purchases" page if you are going to be using PayPal. All Pay Pal payments will be charged a 3% transaction fee whether you are just putting down a deposit or making the full payment, this fee should be included with your payment. Please contact me if you wish to make a payment via Mastercard or Visa. All credit cards will also be charged a 3% transaction fee. 

Deposits - We do not take deposits before kids are born. Once a kid is born you then can put a deposit down, once received the kid will be held until it can leave usually at 1-2 weeks unless other arrangements have been made. A deposit of $100 + 3% transaction fee if paying via paypal or credit card will hold the kid of your choice. Balance is due upon pickup of the kid in the form of cash, money order, or mastercard or visa credit card. Deposits on kids are refundable in the event of permanent injury or death. We do reserve the right to return deposits for any reason at any time!

All kids will be bottle raised and disbudded before leaving our farm. In most cases new kids can leave to go to their new owners when they are about 1 - 2 weeks of age where the new owner will continue to bottle raise them until they are 8 weeks of age. Pickup of kid(s) is expected when they turn 2 weeks old or within 1 to 2 weeks of the deposit or there will be a $5.00 per day per kid charge or $35.00 per week for the bottle feeding and continued care of said kid until pickup can be made.

Initial pricing of kids is determined by lineage, conformation, genetic potential, mammary background as well as the dam's udder. Visual assessment of a kid, once it is born, may change the price. Those on a waitlist will be given the posted price. All buck kids not up to our standards will be sold as wethers without papers for pets or companion animals. They will need to be wethered by the new owners when they turn AT LEAST 3 - 4 months of age. We strive to pass on only the best of our herd. Pricing of adults will be based on individual performance and lineage.

Since goats are instinctively herd animals, they require a "Buddy" in order to be happy and healthy. We will not sell one goat by itself unless there are already goats (or another appropriate herdmate) at the new home. By entering into a purchase, you have agreed to the terms of this sales policy.
